Ambassadors
Four creative women are the primary ambassadors of foundation Stichting Cassandra.
Each with their own talents and different backgrounds, they support Cassandra in unique ways. By donating their time to Cassandra, they help us give a voice to ideas, stories and knowledge we want to amplify and get to the public. Our ambassadors do not get paid for their work: they are volunteers who joined our cause simply because they believe in fighting for the interests of victims of sexual and psychological violence.
Ena Kasumović-Tuhčić works as an illustrator, book designer and creative designer.
Ena was born in Croatia, previously lived in Germany and graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands. On social media Ena speaks to a global audience with her artistic focus on minimalism and she provides a glimpse into the creative life of a Western muslim woman. Ena speaks four languages, and has kindly donated her time in creating the logo of Stichting Cassandra, on behalf of her company Ona Ena.
Izzy Wu Ramos examines her own identity and the world around her as a transdisciplinary artist.
Mental health, recovery, identity and alienation are topics frequently explored symbolically in Izzy’s work. She works in various fields such as photography, ceramics, video and prose poetry. Izzy has worked as a creative director, is pursuing a double degree in international bachelor of arts and culture & fine arts, and calls Rotterdam (NL) her home.
Sand Van Roy is a law student and international actress.
At a young age already Sand travelled the world. She then went on to explore stand-up comedy and acting, while following a law study in the meantime. Since 2018, she has been widely discussed in the media: her experiences in the film industry have become internationally known, as well as her work as an activist. Sand speaks different languages, fights both online and offline for the rights of victims of sexual assault and currently resides in Paris (FR).
Karine Isambert has her own film production company, Revenescences.
As a former model and one of our international contacts, Karine has seen the positive and negative sides of a volatile fashion industry and has given valuable insight into her experiences. You can find her sometimes on the streets of Paris protesting against femicide or speaking out in the media about sexual violence. She trains actors and produces her own films.
